Cabrini High's Homecoming events were held on Thursday, October 13. Students gathered in the gym for the Homecoming Pep Rally with the parade following it.

The 2016 Homecoming Pep Rally was one to remember. Students gathered in the gym to cheer on the volleyball team and crown the Homecoming Court. The cheerleaders performed a routine to rally the students and get them excited about the day. Shortly after, the Eclipse Dance Team showed off their moves.

Soon after the dance team performed, the 2016 Homecoming Court was announced. The pre-freshman maid, Franchesca Stuebben-Acosta, was escorted into the gym by Mr. Sloan. Freshman maid Kirsten Knobloch made her way forward with Mr. Schrenk. Sophomore maid Sydnee Glass crutched her way to the center of the gym with Mr. Wheeler by her side. Mr. Yuratich escorted junior maid Rayven Patin as her classmates cheered. Soon after, the senior maid, Hanna Kennair, entered with Mr. Distler. She was crowned the 2016 Cabrini Homecoming Queen.

After the court was officially introduced, the volleyball team wowed the crowd with a dance. Then, everyone who participated in the Homecoming Parade moved outside to start lining up, while the students left inside continued to rally. The parade soon started, with the members of the Executive Board leading with the banner of the 2016 school year theme, "Oh, the places you'll go!" Each grade level was represented by their student council members carrying a banner with that grade's theme. The dance team and cheerleaders marched in the parade, along with the choir, drama department, and soccer team. The maids rode through the streets in trucks, with the volleyball team doing the same. Cabrini's 2016 Homecoming pep rally and parade are events that no one will forget!
