Father Daughter Picnic

One of the most beautiful relationships that a woman can ever experience in her life is the memories she shares with her father. On Saturday, April 8, 2017, the Cabrini High School Dad's Club held their annual Father Daughter Mass and Picnic. The day was filled with great food, fun activities, good music, and wonderful father daughter memories.

The excitement began with a beautiful Mass, explaining the importance and blessings of father daughter bonding time. After Mass was over, the fathers and daughters met in the cafeteria to discuss upcoming Dad's Club events and updated Cabrini News. Once business was settled, the daughters got first pick at the food and the dads quickly followed. After a long and filling meal, everyone went outside to start the real fun!

Outside were fun and interactive games such as volleyball, ladder ball, and cornhole. The daughters teamed up to compete against the fathers in some of the activities. However, the fun did not stop right there. Once the outside games were finished, everyone met up in the gym to play the annual Father Daughter dodgeball game. However, this was not your normal game of dodgeball. The fathers and daughters split up once again to form super teams. The game went on for nearly an hour and consisted of several fun and even some heated moments. The dodgeball game went on for so long that some Dads started sitting and even laying down in the middle of the court! Meanwhile, some fathers and daughters took a break from the game and danced to the loud and energetic music. In the end, the dads took the lead and became the 2017 Dodgeball Champions.

The 2017 Father Daughter Picnic was one like no other. Starting with a gorgeous and sentimental Mass and ending with a fun game of dodgeball, the picnic was a success. A daughter's relationship with her father is one of the most important elements that will affect her life forever.
