As the sun came down and the makeup came on, Cabrini began to prepare for its annual Fall Dance. On November 4, 2016, the Cabrini gym filled with students and their dates ready to enjoy a night of dancing. The theme of the Fall Dance was Wacky Tacky, which meant students could dress in formal, casual, or tacky attire for the celebration.

The outfits worn to the dance were very diverse which made for a memorable night. Students danced with their friends to trendy songs and line dances. The party did not just stop upstairs, though. Many students piled in the cafeteria to enjoy snacks and drinks with their friends. Pre-Freshman Chloe Barnes said that her first fall dance experience was more than she expected. She said her favorite part of the dance was dancing and singing her lungs out with all of her friends! Although everyone had an exciting time, it got quite emotional for some of the seniors. Senior Chloe DiMaggio stated, "The dance was very bittersweet for me. Even though I enjoyed the dance, I knew this would be my last ever Fall Dance at Cabrini." The night ended with a tacky outfit contest. Several students in jumpers, onesies, tourist wear, and other wacky outfits proceeded to the stage. Students screamed for their favorite participant, and Senior Kassandra Torres won the contest, wearing her tacky Hawaiian tourist outfit.

Although lock-in ended at 10:30 p.m., most students stayed until 11:00 p.m. and did not want to leave by the end of the dance. Cabrini's Fall Dance is unlike no other due to its diverse dress code and fun music and games. Overall, the dance was a success, and students cannot wait to see what Cabrini's next dance has to offer!
